Wosskow Brown appoint valued Solicitor as the new Head of Commercial Property

Seeking to add more value and quality to an already thriving department, Wosskow Brown are proud to announce StJohn Wright as the new Head of Commercial Property.

StJohn has worked for Wosskow Brown since 2016 implementing his skills and knowledge in both Residential and Commercial conveyancing. StJohn is well-liked and respected by his colleagues. He has proven through his countless numbers of happy clients that he is the perfect person for the job.

All together StJohn has over 22 years of experience in the legal profession. He has vast experience in handling commercial property matters throughout the majority of his career. He wants to take forward his knowledge and develop it into ambitious plans for the department and his team. From standard sales and purchases right through to complex developments, he looks forward to providing a fully engaging experience for his clients. He anticipates working with clients that may have large property portfolios, including helping with transfers and refinancing their properties.

Leading the Commercial Property department

When asked about how he feels about his new role, StJohn said that he feels amazing to be given the opportunity to lead the Commercial Property department. He believes that it is a golden opportunity to build a fantastic service for Commercial clients in and around the Sheffield area. He feels extremely positive about what he and his team will be able to achieve with a little bit of time, both for Wosskow Brown and their clients.

StJohn is a big believer that if you want to do a job to a high standard, you need to enjoy what you do “My intention is that whilst I will want our Department to be fully engaged in a supported environment, where all will contribute towards the common goal of serving our client’s needs, I do also value the opportunity to make sure that we all enjoy our work.” By adopting an open-door policy with his team, it will allow everybody to work together effectively and give them the best chance to identify and solve any issues early. From combining everyone’s expertise and knowledge, there is nothing that they won’t be able to handle.

StJohn’s main objective is to achieve a flow of new and existing matters, both for his staff and clients. He is a finisher and he likes to see matters finished in a timely manner. In time, he hopes that his team will be able to present their services to a broad range of clients, whilst continuously looking for new opportunities for workflow growth.

As well as just focusing on the job at hand, StJohn knows how important it is to always consider the client’s interests. Two separate jobs may be similar, but every client is different. Having that conversation with each client, allows him to recognise what their interests are and develop an effective plan in response to their requirements.

We are very excited to have him on board and look forward to following the department’s progression.
