Lindsey McAteer

Conveyancer, Solicitor

Lindsey McAteer is a solicitor at Wosskow Brown Solicitors and sits in the Commercial Property Department at Wosskow Brown’s head office in Attercliffe. Lindsey joined Wosskow Brown in early 2022 and has worked in the legal sector since 2014. After obtaining her LLB from Nottingham Trent, and her LPC from Nottingham Law School, she went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2016.

Lindsey’s experience is centred around her knowledge of both commercial and residential property transactions. She has amassed a wealth of experience in acting for a broad range of commercial landlords and tenants. Lindsey’s experience extends to complex leasehold matters, grants, assignments, sub-leases, variations and surrenders.

Lindsey describes matters including residential or commercial development site acquisition and disposal as her favourite type of work to get involved with as it opens to a wide range of aspects of commercial property transactions.

Lindsey will also act for individual clients on sales or purchases of high-value and complex residential property transactions. It doesn’t matter to Lindsey whether the property is leasehold or freehold, or for occupation or buy-to-let, she’s happy to get stuck in.

Away from the office, Lindsey loves to read, walk, watch F1 and drink Guinness. She can also Irish Dance and holds a green belt in SDF Modern Street Combat. Her ideal dinner guests would be Freddie Mercury, Henrik Larsson, Neal Shusterman and Emma Watson. And given the opportunity, she’d love to explore the sights in Italy, or road trip around Ireland.
