Wosskow Brown Solicitors is looking for a new receptionist/admin assistant to join our team at our Hillsborough office on Middlewood Road.

Receptionist Expectations

We seek a professional individual. You should be a good communicator, pay close attention to detail and be able to take instructions. You will be expected to have a willingness to work well within a close-knit team.

Previous legal experience would be beneficial, but we’re equally happy to provide the training if you’re new to the industry.

At Wosskow Brown, we expect our receptionists to possess an excellent telephone manner, along with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and associated applications. Experience with case management or CRM systems is desirable but not essential. You should have good numerical skills and should have a meticulous eye for detail with spelling and grammar.

A flexible, friendly, and positive outlook is also important to us, but our most important requirement is that you must be able to maintain confidentiality and be willing to learn.

Key Duties

As a receptionist at Wosskow Brown, you’ll be providing an important service to support our lawyers and solicitors. You’ll be expected to undertake a range of duties:

  • Answering & transferring incoming calls
  • Handling general enquiries & payments
  • Arranging appointments for the lawyers & solicitors
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Handling clients both face-to-face & on the telephone
  • Processing incoming & outgoing post
  • Photocopying & filing
  • Opening & archiving files
  • Welcoming potential new & existing clients

Applying for the Receptionist Role

This position is full-time; 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Wosskow Brown Solicitors are offering a competitive salary (based on experience), with 27 days of paid holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
