Jeff has a background in the insurance industry, having worked for insurers as well as an independent broker and financial adviser up until the early 1990’s. This is when his association with Wosskow Brown began, and as managing director of a legal expense provider, he started to refer work to our personal injury department.
Jeff teamed up Sally Mallinson, the partner who now leads the personal injury department, in 2003, when she was a newly qualified solicitor. It is his knowledge and experience, combined with Sally’s enthusiasm and organisational skills that have driven the department forward into the successful operation that it is today: highly regarded throughout the industry for the quality of its staff and the work they undertake.
Jeff has been particularly instrumental in advising claims management companies on compliance issues and helping to forge new corporate relationships.
He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and has experience of dealing with high value claims as well as cases involving allegations of fraud.
During his career Jeff has also been a partner in a credit hire operation and held consultancies with medico-legal providers. He remains a well-respected figure within the insurance industry today and has extensive knowledge of credit hire issues.
Jeff likes: theatre, good food and Nottingham Forest Football Club.
He dislikes: ghosts (passengers or car hire) and insurance claims call centres (not in the UK).
