Alan qualified as a solicitor in September 2010 and specialises in employment and insolvency law.
Originally from Sunderland, Alan attended university in Leeds where he did his law degree. He then went on to undertake his Legal Practice Course in York. He obtained a legal training contract with a solicitors firm in Sheffield and joined Wosskow Brown in October 2010.
Very much involved with the legal community in Sheffield, Alan is a former President of the Sheffield and District Junior Law Society.
A self-proclaimed football maniac, he plays football 5 times a week and he is the manager of a local football team in Banner Cross – The Civil Service Wanderers. He is a qualified coach and has previously coached football all around America.
Clearly enjoying globe-trotting, Alan has also travelled around Australia and gained some valuable legal experience there as a paralegal in Sydney.
In his spare time (yes he does manage to find some), he indulges in his sporting passions of golf, swimming, gym and running. He has participated in the Great North Run a couple of times and has raised money for children’s hospitals.
