Wosskow Brown, is delighted to announce that it has been joined by commercial law specialist, Kiley Tan, to head its busy commercial department.
Kiley, who specialises in dispute resolution and non-contentious commercial law qualified as a solicitor in the UK in 2003, but was previously qualified as a barrister since 1998. He is also qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia.
Kiley, who speaks Cantonese and Malay, lives in Sheffield and, after working around Yorkshire and Humberside since qualifying, is delighted to be back working in his home city.
He remains a member of Lincoln's Inn, which is one of the four Inns of Court, which have played a fundamental role in preparing students for call to the Bar and their progress to professional competence as barristers for many centuries.
With a young family, Kiley obviously does not get a great deal of time to himself, but when he does, he enjoys all sports, particularly badminton, and is a self confessed ‘IT geek’ – unable to resist the latest gadgets!
Kiley said “I am really pleased to be working in Sheffield with such a dynamic firm as Wossow Brown and am looking forward to contributing to the continued success of the firm.”
Wosskow Brown’s managing partner, Ian Brown said: “Kiley is a great addition to our commercial team and will, I am sure, lead it using his own personal flair and dedication. It is fantastic that Sheffield businesses will now be able to benefit from his extensive commercial expertise.”
Kiley can be contacted directly on 0114 856 4782, or by email at kiley.tan@wosskowbrown.co.uk.
