Successful night at the Sports Quiz
WB Charity Sports Quiz Night raises BIG money for Charity.
Our ‘Charity Sports Quiz Night’ raised £3750 in the name of three local charities.
Wosskow Brown Solicitors held a ‘Charity Sports Quiz Night’ on Thursday the 10th of November in Sheffield. The night ended up raising £3750 which will be split between three local charities – Cavendish Cancer Care, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, and Barnsley Hospice. Genting Club Casino graciously hosted the event providing their corporate functions space for the evening.
Emilda Morgans a Director at Wosskow Brown stated, “This was our flagship event to mark the last two years of fundraising for these three charities and it was great to see so many of our friends and colleagues having a fantastic time whilst raising so much money for our chosen charities. ”
The night included an auction, where signed Kell Brook and Anthony Joshua Gloves, a signed Jessica Ennis-Hill Shirt, a personalised Wayne Rooney shirt and much more all went to generous bidders.
The night was hosted by Wosskow Brown’s Marketing Executive – Mike Tuck, who is also Captain of the Sheffield Sharks pro basketball team. “It was an amazing night! We had 30 competitive teams of quizzers battling it out all for great causes. I’m extremely happy with the turn out and even more happy with the amount of money that we raised. Thank you to all the people who came out and supported us. Also a huge thank you to everyone who donated raffle and auction prizes. This may have to be an annual event!”
