Foundation announces it's first President

Richard Caborn has been announced as the first President of the Wosskow Brown Foundation. The news comes following the recent launch of the Foundation to an audience of over 130 guests including two Olympians and the High Sheriff of South Yorkshire adding to the occasion.
Trustee of the Foundation Ian Brown is delighted with the decision. “Richard is the ideal person for the role. His many years of experience, knowledge and passion for helping people and businesses , will be of real benefit to the Foundation and his time as Minister of Sport makes him the perfect choice for our grassroots sports support programme
Richard, a native of Sheffield, was a member of Parliament from 1983-2010 and served as Minister of Sport from 2001-2007. He also currently heads up the project team for the development of the Olympic Legacy Park.
“ I look forward to supporting the aims of the Wosskow Brown Foundation and being able to help and advise in any way I can. The trustees have commitment and passion to deliver ambitious plans to help grow the local economy and create jobs.”
The first programme under Wosskow Brown Foundation will be the WB100 which will assist 100 businesses, 100 charities and Social Enterprises , 100 people in grassroots sports and help create 100 jobs.
